Here’s a great way to dress up veggies for you little princess.

 

Peas have a sweet taste and are full of nutrition — vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, fibre and potassium to name a few. 

They make the fun finger food for toddlers.

And because they are sweet and not bitter like other green vegetables, they are a good starter vegetable for kids. 

This is one of our favourite recipes from the palace kitchens.

Ingredients:
-16 ounce frozen peas
-1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-2 TBS fresh lemon juice
-2 TBS olive oil
-1/2 tsp kosher salt
-1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions: Cook the frozen peas according to package directions, then mix the rest of the ingredients: Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
